Information on data protection

Scope
This data protection declaration is intended to inform the users of this website in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator Elke Kegelmann. I take your data protection very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal regulations. Note that data transmission on the Internet can generally be subject to security gaps. Full protection against unauthorized access is not possible.
For reasons of data protection, this page is hosted on a server in Germany. This means that German data protection law applies to all data collected and listed below.

Which data are collected when you visit my website?
When you visit my website, some data from your visit are recorded in so-called log file on the server of my web host. These are:

- the internet address (IP address) of the calling user
- the browser used and the operating system of the calling computer
- the subpages called up
- Date and time of the call
- Amount of data sent in bytes
- referrer address
- result of the page view (e.g. correctly transmitted to the calling browser: 200, page not found: 404)

Beyond that, I or my web host will not collect any further data when you visit my site. The data collected are only used for statistical evaluations and to improve the website. However, I reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are concrete indications of illegal use.

Data economy and privacy protection
Since the protection of privacy is important to me, I do not use any analysis and tracking services such as Google Analytics, Piwik or others.

Why is the specified data transmitted to the server?
All of the data listed above are a regular component of the HTTP / HTTPS data protocol commonly used worldwide on the Internet and are transmitted to the server every time you visit any website. They are technically necessary in order to be able to correctly transmit the page you have called up to you with its content.

What will happen to this data?
The statistical evaluation of this data gives me information about how you use my site, how the daily course of visits is distributed, which search terms were entered in search engines that led to my site, whether you accessed my site directly or whether you were specific followed the link that refers to this page, which operating system and which browser you are using and their version.

Anonymity
When you go into the Internet via your Internet provider, you will be assigned a temporary IP address. This will be allocated until you disconnect the Internet connection. When the connection is established, your Internet provider saves which IP has been assigned to a particular telephone number.
Only the IP address assigned to you is stored in the log files of our web host, but not the link to your telephone number or your cable connection. We have no access to the link data of the Internet provider. This means that we cannot draw any conclusions from the stored IP addresses about the people who have visited this page.

Cookies, no, not the ones to eat
My website uses cookies. These are small text files that our server transfers to the internal memory of your browser. Cookies cannot contain any program code and therefore cannot do any harm. The use of cookies increases the user-friendliness and security of this website. These cookies are deleted after your session has expired. The data contained in cookies are stored on my server and are also deleted there after the end of your current session. I will not pass this data on to third parties.

Cookie set by my side: PHPSESSID (unique identification number for your current page visit)

Handling of personal data
My website can be used without providing personal data. The input of personal data (email address, name, address, telephone number, etc.) on this website is done by the user on a voluntary basis.
I collect, use and pass on your personal data only if this is permitted by law or if you consent to the data being collected. Personal data includes all information that is used to identify your person and which can be traced back to you - for example your name, your email address and telephone number.

Handling of contact details
If you contact me through the contact options offered, your details will be stored for a period of six months so that they can be used to process and answer your request and in the event of follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Your questions are important to me!
